🌿 Healing happens beyond the hospital.
The Healing Through Nature program by Emilio Nares Foundation supports families as they navigate life after a child’s cancer treatment. Through outdoor experiences, creative activities, and community connection, families can reconnect, restore, and build tools for emotional wellness together.
We’re currently looking for families whose children are in remission or have completed chemotherapy, ages 0–18, and who live in San Diego County.
If you know a family who could benefit from this experience, please help us spread the word. 💛

Now through March 31, you can make your travels even more meaningful.
Every time you use the CBX bridge, you’ll have the opportunity to donate to Emilio Nares Foundation and support families navigating life after a child’s diagnosis.
Together, ENF and CBX have helped create space for the next chapter, where families of childhood cancer survivors' step into culturally grounded, nature-based experiences designed for restoration and reconnection. Through healing practices, arts, financial literacy, nutrition, and environmental and science education, families reduce isolation, build resilience, and rediscover joy.
In the short term, families feel immediate uplift. Over time, children and caregivers gain tools for mindfulness and stress reduction, strengthen relationships, and build lasting peer connections. Anxiety decreases. Confidence grows. Joy returns.
This is community as medicine.
This is healing beyond the hospital.
This is how we become #StrongerTogether.
Your support helps families move from surviving to thriving, together.
