🌟 We are proud to welcome two remarkable leaders to the Emilio Nares Foundation Board of Directors: Darjené Graham-Perez, Ed.D. and Sonia Gonzales! 🌟
Dr. Graham-Perez, Chief Human Resources Officer at Walden Family Services, is a nationally recognized HR leader and community advocate whose career has been dedicated to building inclusive workplaces and advancing nonprofit leadership. She previously served on the MAAC Board of Directors and serves at Lifeline Services Board as Chair. She has been recognized nationally for her leadership and impact, receiving multiple honors including being named a two-time “Top 50 Black Leaders of Influence” honoree and a Top 100 Proven HR Professional.
Sonia Gonzales, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, brings decades of experience in health services administration and community leadership, including roles at MiraCosta College, TrueCare, and the San Diego County Medical Society. She currently serves as a Board Member with the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce and as Chair of the Farmworker Care Coalition, continuing her lifelong commitment to serving families and strengthening our communities.
Their vision, compassion, and leadership will help ENF expand our reach and ensure we continue providing vital programs and services for children and families affected by cancer. 🌟

From the incredible tastings—beef tartare, local ceviche tostadas, arancini, rigatoni al Forno, lamb albondigas, and burrata pizza crust—to the amazing sips—craft mixology, mezcal from Oaxaca, tequila snow cones, and a stunning variety of wines from Napa, Paso Robles, Valle de Guadalupe, and Washington State—our guests were treated to the best of the best. 🍷🍹 And of course, we ended the night on the sweetest note with refreshing ice cream! 🍨
