We were beyond thrilled to be able to ring the bell in celebration of the end of Uriel’s treatment. At just 10 months old, Uriel was diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia), a cancer that affects the blood cells. Now, at 7 years old, he’s come through it all with strength and courage, and we couldn’t be more proud of him. This moment is a true testament to his resilience and the power of hope. 💛

Originally from Guatemala, Scarlett’s family moved to San Diego just a month ago to give her the best shot at recovery. Despite everything she’s been through, Scarlett dreams of becoming a doctor and a dancer, hoping to inspire others the way she’s been inspired.
