When Richard Nares lost his son to cancer, he turned to running as a way to heal.
Now, he’s using running to help heal others. He’s hoping to raise $250,000 as he runs from Seattle to San Diego.
The money will be given to the Emilio Nares Foundation, the non-profit Richard founded in honor of his son.
The group’s programs include shirts, specifically designed for kids with cancer, to make treatments less invasive.
