Day 22 – 645 miles and almost there!

Oceanside -> Cardiff -> Clairemont Richard's friend, Wendy, is joining Richard for his last 15 mile morning run from Oceanside to Cardiff Kook Statue! Wendy might be the happiest side kick runner we have seen yet! Cruising through Carlsbad!  

Day 21 – 613 miles ran…and almost home!

Laguna Beach -> San Onofre -> Oceanside Harbor Richard says most this run has been very spiritual for him. He thinks a lot about Emilio and ENF's patients. Other times, he listens to his body and adjusts his form and/or breathing. He is running through San Clemente right now!             (read more)

Orange -> Newport Beach -> Laguna Beach Ready? Set. GO! Countdown begins. Only 4 days left, about 80 miles left to run and he will tie his running shoes only 6 more times. We see you SAN DIEGO!     Richard running through Laguna Beach

Dockweiler State Beach -> Palos Verdes -> Alamitos Bay This morning, Richard ran on the Manhattan Beach strand. Zuma Beach -> Topanga Beach -> Dockweiler State Beach The boys loved Donna's company while running through Malibu.  Also, a HUGE thank you to Lanette for meeting us on our break and giving Richard a much needed bag of fruit, his favorite hammer products, socks (that he wears!) and much much more! Mandalay Beach -> Mugu Beach -> Zuma Beach There is a high surf advisory today...that's because Richard is about to come through LA and will be making waves!                         65 degrees, sunny, with a slight breeze. He's running 14 miles this afternoon through Malibu to Zuma (read more)

Rincon Mountain -> Oak View -> Mandalay Beach Here he goes...an uphill, slow, 800 feet climb toward Ojai. Ever wonder what Richard's view is? What he sees? What he hears? Cold Spring -> Santa Barbara -> Rincon Mountain This morning, Richard and Eric were cruising down the mountain, into Santa Barbara! Thanks Eric for coming back to run two more days with Richard!     After they made it down the mountain, they finally got back onto the coast of Santa Barbara and enjoyed the wonderful weather! Day 13 – 370 miles ran…and counting!

Foley Vineyards -> Santa Ynez -> Cold Spring This morning's run finished at the Santa Ynez Airport. Panos finished his last 15 miles with a blister on his toe. Thank you Panos for hanging tough with Richard!! He loves hearing someone else's footsteps. The second run of the day was the hardest with 86 degrees (read more)
