Thanks so much to gap intelligence, sponsors, golfers, guests and volunteers for such a wonderful event! Everyone had a great time and your support will directly benefit the families ENF serves. Check out the wonderful pictures of the event!!
gap intelligence is a values-led company. They care about themselves, their clients, and their local community. On March 15th, 2013, gap intelligence hosted their single biggest contribution to the San Diego community – their first ever Golf Tournament to benefit ENF!
Thanks to the generosity of California Ballet Company, this holiday season, ENF distributed tickets to the holiday classic, The Nutcracker! Families spent time with their loved ones, a much needed treat, while enjoying the art of ballet.
ENF hosted its Third Santa’s Workshop inside Rady Children’s Hospital and we delivered toys to children in the Oncology/Hematology Unit. Often times, parents don’t have time or money to buy presents for their kids due to long treatments and hospital stays. ENF brings a smile to patients, sibling and parents and makes sure no child is left without a present!!
Thank you to everyone who came to Local Habit to raise funds and awareness for ENF’s imperative programs which serve low-income, underprivileged families whose children are battling cancer in San Diego.

On September 10, 2011 Richard embarked in a new journey. Our very own executive director, Richard Nares, trained hard for his most heartfelt run of his life. He ran a 175-mile journey that started in Los Angeles and ended in San Diego with the goal of raising funds to help families battling cancer. What better way to celebrate “Childhood Cancer Awareness Month”.
Camp Agape San Diego is a place where children with cancer have a chance to be kids in a fun, activity-filled outdoor camp environment. Families had the opportunity to unite and share with other families who are experiencing a similar situation in a relaxed setting. We understand how traumatizing a child’s cancer diagnosis can be on the entire family. This weekend is about children developing self confidence while their parents seek support and encouragement. Camp Agape is hosted at the YMCA’s Camp Marston in Julian with facilities including an athletic field, basketball courts, archery range, swimming pool, ping-pong tables, climbing tower and campfire area with fully trained camp staff.
Thanks to everyone who attended our 8th annual Harvest for Hope fundraising event!!! Thanks to all your support many families will keep receiving free transportation, support programs and events throughout the year!!! Thank You!!!
The Rock n Roll Marathon is one of the most important fundraising events for ENF. As important as this event is for the foundation, it means so much more to Richard Nares, founder and Executive Director of the Emilio Nares Foundation. This year marks Richard’s 8th time running the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
