ENF would like to highlight Genevieve Edwards, for her volunteer efforts and dedication to ENF.
“My children and I were immediately taken by this family and spent as much time as we could with them. We were fortunate to have met Emilio. Particularly my kids who were older, they would go visit Emilio when he was hospitalized and would play with him. It was very, very special.”
Genevieve or “Geny” has been involved with ENF since the beginning, when they launched in 2003. Geny has been at every Harvest for Hope event and you may have met her since she and her son Thomas and daughter Uasi where the first ones to greet the guests with the celebratory Prosecco bubles. She has also helped coordinate the amazing silent wine auctions on behalf of the Women Wine Alliance organization. ‘This group’s mission is to empower women in the wine industry and also showcase wines created by women. They have been avid ENF supporters for many years. This past Harvest for Hope auction, Geny coordinated 18 wine gift baskets, using some of her own collection to round out the donations, raising over $11,000. (more…)
